Kolkata-Bangkok flight halted before take-off due to technical snag; 137 passengers stranded
Kolkata Police has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory for July 5 in light of several religious processions scheduled across the city. Movement on multiple major roads is expected to be affected at different hours, and commuters have been urged to plan their routes accordingly.
The processions are set to begin from early afternoon and will continue into the late evening, covering several high-traffic zones, including Central Kolkata, North Kolkata, South Kolkata, and Behala. Officials have assured that updates will be provided in real time if any further disruptions or diversions occur during the processions.
Public cooperation is being requested to ensure minimal inconvenience and smooth traffic regulation throughout the day.
